With the advanced electrocoating of chassis and body, as well as robot painting, Yutong is the largest single plant of bus manufacturing throughout the world and the most technically advanced manufacturing base of large and medium-sized buses in the world. In 1997, it was listed in the Shanghai Stock Exchange (stock name “Yutong Bus”, stock code 600066), which is the first listed company in China’s bus industry. The key economic indicators have increased rapidly for over ten years in a row. In addition, Yutong has been granted AAA credit rating of ICBC for more than ten years successively. In 2015, Yutong delivered 67,018 buses and coaches worldwide, ranked first in the world in terms of the sales volume of large and medium-sized buses, with a market share of over 30% in China and over 10% in the world. Located in the Eastern International Logistics Park of Zhengzhou, the Yutong New Energy Vehicle Plant covers an area of over 1.33 million square meters and has an expected annual output of 30,000 units, becoming China’s most advanced and world’s largest manufacturing base of new energy buses.
With a comprehensive planning, the new energy bus plant features rational layout. The related workshops are close with each other to ensure the smooth logistics. The main products produced here are high-end coaches and city buses. The production lines specifically for city buses include two lines for integral buses and two for large and medium-sized buses. The production lines specifically for high-end coaches include one line for overseas products and one for high-end coaches. With the production mode of specific production lines, the bus models are more centralized and the technology more professional so as to shorten the delivery cycle, rapidly meet the demand of customization and improve the build quality and workmanship.
